Jacquelyn Venter Ridder is the principal harpist of the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Symphony.  She has also performed with the Cedar Rapids Symphony, the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, South East Iowa Symphony Orchestra, Central Iowa Symphony, the Oberlin Orchestra, the Oberlin Chamber Orchestra, and the University of Northern Iowa performing ensembles.  In 2004 she was a featured soloist at the Crème de la Crème Benefit Concert for the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center.

Ms. Venter Ridder received her Master of Music Degree in Harp Performance from the University of Northern Iowa and her Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music.  During her years at Oberlin she also studied at the legendary Salzedo Summer Harp Colony in Camden, Maine.  Her teachers include Yolanda Kondonassis, Alice Chalifoux, Mary Beckman and Gretchen Brumwell.
