A strong advocate for music education, he established three new public school string programs in Las Vegas, Nevada and is currently involved teaching at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater String Academy.
Mr. Mariani’s Double Bass teachers include Volkan Orhon and Stuart Sankey. He studied orchestral conducting with William Jones and participated in conducting master-classes and clinics with Marvin Rabin, and Henry Smith.
