James Griesheimer holds a Ph.D. in Musicology from Indiana University where he served as assistant to Professors Willi Apel and Walter Kaufmann. Under terms of a Fulbright Fellowship, Mr. Griesheimer studied at the University of Munich and did original research on the music of Renaissance composer Ludwig Senfl. He is an active performer and conductor, formerly directing the Luther Collegium Musicum and serving as solo English horn in the Rochester Symphony.
