Dorian VOcal Festival
60th Annual Dorian Vocal Festival
January 9-11, 2010
The Dorian Vocal Festival is for outstanding junior and senior vocalists in high school. Musicians are nominated by their choral directors. Of these students, 1400 are chosen to participate in the Festival Choir. A grand concert is held at the end of the Festival. During this concert the Luther College Nordic Choir also performs, along with festival soloists who are selected from over 500 students who audition.
Students interested in attending Luther College the following year may audition for a music scholarship. If students are interested in auditioning for a scholarship in piano or another instrument while on campus for the Festival, may arrange to do so by calling the Admissions Office at 1-800-4LUTHER.
