- Craig Arnold
Dr. Arnold serves as Director of Choral Activities and conductor of Nordic Choir. After several years as a member of the Luther faculty in the early 80s, he taught at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio and Western Michigan University. Most recently, he was the music director of Manhattan Concert Productions and the Conductor of the New York Chorale and Chamber Orchestra. He has worked with choirs and orchestras at all levels in Europe, Asia and throughout the United States. - Sandra Peter
With advanced degrees in both vocal performance and choral conducting, Dr. Peter directs women's and mixed-voice choirs and teaches Conducting at Luther. Her women's choir, Aurora, has appeared at major choral conventions, and she was a speaker at the 2005 ACDA Convention in Los Angeles. She has conducted women's All-State groups in the Upper Midwest and has done intensive study of Libby Larsen's choral music, including commissioning a piece premiered at Christmas at Luther in 2004. - Timothy Peter
Dr. Peter, in his 16th year of teaching at his alma mater, directs men's and mixed-voice choirs and serves as department head. He led a select student choir on a groundbreaking performance/study tour of South Africa and Namibia in January 2006. He is a frequent conductor of honor and all-state choirs around the country and as far away as South Korea, Germany, and Oman.
