Eugene Rousseau Joins Sr. High Dorian Camp Faculty
Luther College is proud to announce that Eugene Rousseau, former member of the Luther music faculty and Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Music at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, will be joining the staff of the 2008 Dorian Sr. High Summer Camp. Dr. Rousseau will be on campus to work with saxophone students in masterclasses and to perform for the students and guests. Dr. Rousseau has long been known around the world as a master performer and teacher. We are excited and honored that he will be sharing his expertise, his experience and his delightful personality with all in attendance at Camp this year.
High School Summer Camp Information
Over 350 students entering grades 10, 11, 12, and 2008 graduates will come to the Luther College campus to study with music faculty. The daily camp schedule offers rehearsal times, workshops, classes, and lessons, offset by evening recreational activities such as student and faculty talent nights, concerts, dances and movies. The camp ends with a grand concert in the Center for Faith and Life.
Students live in residence halls on campus and eat their meals at the college cafeteria. A dedicated, caring group of college-age counselors supervise the halls and daily activities.
Camp fee: $395.00 (includes room, board, and tuition)
Private Lessons are available in all areas, vocal and instrumental, for an additional $32.00. This fee covers the cost of two half-hour lessons.
