Masterclasses
A 1 1/2 hour masterclass session is held for each instrument on Monday morning. During that time, members of the Luther string faculty will work with Festival players who have been chosen on the basis of an audition on Sunday afternoon. Students wishing to be considered should indicate that on their registration form and bring along a contest-level solo to play at the audition and for the masterclass.
Sectionals, lessons, solo reviews, and Scholarship Auditions with critics from the Luther Music Faculty will be held in the Jenson-Noble Hall of Music. Students should bring music for their teacher.
