Sunday, march 1
12:30–2:30
Registration—Center for Faith and Life, Upstairs Lobby.
Directors must check in when they arrive to pick up badges and information, pay any outstanding fees, and turn in students' permission forms at the registration table. Room assignments for students staying on campus should be picked up at the housing table.
1:00-2:30
Rehearsal for all flutes with guest clinician Dr. Katherine Borst Jones, Center for Faith and Life main hall.
2:30
All participants assemble in the Main Hall of the Center of Faith and Life.
3:00–5:00
The first Dorian Massed Band Rehearsals under the direction of Dr. James Ripley from Carthage College, and Dr. Andrew Boysen from the Univeristy of New Hampshire will be held. The Bachman Band with Dr. Boysen is in the Center for Faith and Life and the Fillmore Band with Dr. Ripley is in the North Gym of the Regents Center. Students must have their own music and stand.
3:00–3:15
Dorian Symphonic Band participants meet in Sperati Room, Jenson-Noble Hall of Music for warm-up and instructions.
3:15–4:00
Dorian Symphonic Band chair placement auditions (Sites in Jenson-Noble Hall of Music to be announced).
4:00–5:30
The first Dorian Symphonic Band Rehearsal under the direction of Frederick Nyline will be held in the Sperati Room, Jenson-Noble Hall of Music.
4:00–6:00
Solo Auditions—Soloists will perform for Heather Armstrong, Michael Chesher, Richard Tirk, Michael Geary, Carol Hester, Harry Hindson, Stacie Mickens, Michael Smith. Students should be at their performance site five minutes ahead of time so that our compact schedule may run without delay. Please notify us ahead of time if there are any cancellations. A copy of the music, with measures marked, must be furnished for the critic.
5:30–6:30
Supper—On your own. Student Union Cafeteria ($7.75), Marty's cyber-café, or Oneota Market are available on campus.

Luther College wind and percussion ensemble, varsity band, and concert band performance—Center for Faith and Life. Free admission.

All students are to remain in the Center for Faith and Life until all announcements are made regarding evening soloists.

Final rehearsal of Dorian Symphonic Band—Center for Faith and Life. ALL students will be responsible for carrying their own music and stand.

Dorian Band Festival Grand Concert—Center for Faith and Life. Free admission. No tickets required. This concert will feature outstanding soloists, the Dorian Festival Symphonic Band, and the Dorian Festival Massed Bands.
