Bradley Moore to perform guest piano recital on Feb. 17

Bradley Moore, guest pianist, will hold a guest recital Feb. 17 in the Noble Recital Hall.

The program is open to the public with no charge for admission.

Moore will perform works including “Sonata in F” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, “Sonata III” by Paul Hindemith and “Davidsbündlertänze” by Robert Schumann.
   
Moore enjoys a career as a pianist and vocal coach at the Metropolitan Opera, where he is currently an assistant conductor.  Moore has performed with many of the world’s greatest singers, including Renee Fleming, Placido Domingo and Denyce Graves. 
   
Moore was recently heard on “A Prairie Home Companion” in collaboration with Ms. Fleming and cellist Yo-Yo Ma.  He has made several media appearances accompanying the violinist Joshua Bell, including “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “A&E’s Breakfast with the Arts” and the CBS Saturday morning news. 
   
As a soloist, Moore has appeared with several orchestras including the National Symphony Orchestra, the Buffalo Philharmonic and the Charleston Symphony Orchestra.  His discography includes an EMI Classics Debut Series recital with Luther alum Eric Cutler and a recording on the Arsis Label by composer Daron Hagen.
   
Moore has been associated with the Salzburg Festival for several years, where he has been a musical assistant to Riccardo Muti, Kent Nagano and Ivor Bolton.  He is one of the principal coaches of the festival’s Young Singers Project.  He has also worked as an assistant conductor at the Opéra National de Paris and the Los Angeles Opera.
   
Moore holds degrees from the University of Maryland and Yale University.  His principal teachers were Thomas Schumacher, Maria Curcio Diamand, and Claude Frank.  He completed his musical training with James Levine in the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artists’ Development Program.
